He completed his high school education from Marshall Metropolitan High School and got his higher degrees in education from Arkansas State University.
Agee never made an official debut in the NBA but was popular in his high school player and college days as a good basketball player. He was scouted by by an unofficial talent scout Earl Smith and started to play for St. Joseph School in 1987. During his highschool years, he was considered one of the players that would later go pro.
In 1996, he turned down the contract to play for Connecticut Pride and instead accepted to play in the film Passing Golry. His career took a turn from that time forth and he never went to go pro in basketball.
